I’m originally from Landem, Belgium. My daily driver is a 2001 GMC Yukon and I also have a 2017 Ram 2500.
My primary occupation is a heavy transport driver. I’ve been hauling for a long time. In Australia I had a Volvo F16. In Europe, I drove a Scania. Here in the United States my preference is a Kenworth T800 with a CAT 550 or Cummins 600 with 7 or 9 axles anywhere from 10 to 85 tons.
On the weekends, my fun vehicle is a Suzuki 650 motorcycle. I ride with one of three motorcycle organizations — Desert Road Racers, Xcel Track Days and SoCal Track Days. In the winter, I race at Arizona Motorsports Park and Chuckwalla Race Track. During the summer, I race at Indy Motorsport. I used to race in Belgium when I was in my 20’s and 30’s, but in later years my truck driving job took precedent and it wasn’t until two years ago that I started riding again. I love the speed and the challenge of racing. It keeps me fit and focused.
