Stephanie Johnston races her Chevy Monte Carlo at Virginia Motor Speedway. Stephanie grew up in a racing family and watched her family compete at Langley Speedway and Virginia Motor Speedway. He father raced quads and her husband, AJ, raced Super Late Models in the 1990s. Shortly after marrying, they decided that Stephanie should get in on the fun too! During her first race, Stephanie flipped the car. With the help of AJ, who is also her crew chief and biggest fan, they repaired it in under two weeks. Now, she's entering her fifth season as a driver. AJ supports Stephanie and guides her with how to be competitive in a world filled with a lot of men. Stephanie says that fortunately the men she competes against are kind and make her work for every spot and every moment.

When AJ and Stephanie aren't on the track, they love to travel. AJ works with Stone Crusher and a Grave Digger Monster truck team so Stephanie likes to follow and help AJ on the road.
